Your First KineX Session

Your first session is dedicated to understanding you.  We’ll listen, answer your questions and help you understand the next steps.

Starting care can feel unfamiliar, especially when you’re dealing with pain or unsure what’s causing it. Your first assessment gives us time to get to know you, understand your concerns and explore how we can help.

What Is an Initial Assessment?

It is a comprehensive evaluation with a registered therapist. We’ll discuss your symptoms and health history, assess your movement and physical function, and establish a starting point to track your progress. Together, we’ll explore your goals and create a personalized treatment plan.

Your clinician may assess your movement, strength, flexibility or balance, depending on your needs. We’ll explain each step before proceeding and check in about your comfort. You can ask questions, request a pause or decline any part of the assessment.

We’ll then talk through our findings in plain language and explain the care options available to you.

Together, we’ll build a personalized care plan around your goals, with treatment, exercises or home-care advice when appropriate. We’ll explain follow-up recommendations, review your progress and guide you to additional care if needed.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring any relevant medical reports, surgical instructions, medication list and insurance details. Bring your questions, too—you don’t need a diagnosis to book your first visit.
